Branding & websites for healthcare

Design that earns trust in healthcare.

Medical clinics, specialist practices, health tech & wellness providers. Sites that put patients at ease before they walk in.

Care starts long before the appointment. Patients need clarity, warmth and confidence; referrers and investors need credibility. We design for patients who are anxious, busy, and deciding whether to trust you with something personal — and for the way they actually decide.

Healthcare branding & web design

What patients need to see before they book.

Choosing a clinic, a therapist or a specialist is personal. Before anyone books, they want to know three things: that you treat what they’re dealing with, that you’re qualified, and that they’ll be treated with care. A healthcare website has to answer all three in seconds, on a phone, often for someone who is anxious.

We design healthcare brands and websites around that moment, for fertility clinics like Conceive Health, mental health providers like Guidelight Health and Diverge Health, and education leaders like AGE Inc. Clear service pages, visible credentials, accessible design and booking paths that don’t make people hunt.

Healthcare sites also have to be found. We plan structure and content for healthcare SEO, design for WCAG accessibility and keep Canadian privacy rules in mind.

Why healthcare teams choose Envy.

We’ve worked with organizations like Johnson & Johnson, and a single-location clinic gets the same senior attention from us. Whether you run a specialist practice or a growing health tech company, we design brands and websites that feel calm, credible and easy to use, so patients arrive informed and at ease.

We learn your world first

Discovery covers your market, competitors and patients before any design begins. We map what people worry about, what they search for and what they need to know before booking, then build the site around those answers.

Clarity over clutter

Clean design and plain language make treatments, services and next steps easy to follow. Readable type, strong contrast and accessible layouts help every patient, including older visitors and anyone reading on a small screen.

Proof, front and centre

Credentials, results and reviews appear exactly where patients make decisions. Practitioner bios, qualifications, affiliations and patient testimonials sit beside the services they relate to, building trust before anyone walks through the door.

Built to convert

Every page leads somewhere: a booking, a call, a referral or an enquiry. Online booking, locations and hours stay easy to reach, so a new patient never has to hunt for how to get in.

Frequently asked questions.

Are your healthcare websites accessible?

Yes. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, with readable type, strong contrast, keyboard navigation and clear forms, because patients of every ability need to use your site. An accessible healthcare website isn't a nice extra; it's how people book care.

In practice that means testing colour contrast, writing meaningful alt text, labelling form fields properly, keeping navigation predictable and making sure screen readers can follow the page. We think about older patients, people on small phones and anyone who might be unwell or stressed while they're looking for information. If your current site has accessibility gaps, we can review it and tell you what needs fixing before or during a redesign.

Can you help with Canadian privacy requirements?

We design forms and data flows with PHIPA and PIPEDA in mind and work with your privacy lead or legal advisor on what your organization requires. We're designers and developers, not lawyers, so we treat privacy as a team effort.

On a healthcare website that usually means thinking carefully about what each form collects, where submissions go, which third-party tools are involved and what patients are told about it. We'll flag where sensitive information might be at risk and suggest safer approaches, such as keeping detailed health information out of general contact forms. Your privacy lead makes the final calls, and we build to match, so your website supports your obligations instead of complicating them.

Do you work with multi-location clinics?

Yes. We structure sites with location pages and service pages so each clinic can be found in local search. For a multi-location clinic, that structure matters as much as the design itself.

Each location typically gets its own page with an address, hours, map, contact details, services offered and the practitioners who work there. Service pages then link back to the clinics that provide them, which helps patients and search engines understand how everything fits together. We also make it easy for your team to add a new location later without rebuilding anything. If you're planning to grow, tell us early and we'll design the healthcare website with that expansion in mind.

Do you only work with healthcare businesses?

No, but we understand healthcare well, and we bring lessons from every industry we work in. Alongside clinics and healthcare organizations, we work with professional services, trades, non-profits, startups, education and more.

That outside perspective helps. E-commerce teaches us how to make booking flows quick, finance teaches us how to explain complicated things simply, and non-profits remind us that trust is earned through honest storytelling. We bring all of that to healthcare branding and website design, while respecting what makes the sector different: accessibility, privacy, sensitive subject matter and patients who are often anxious. You get specialist care for your audience and fresh thinking for your brand.

How much does a project cost?

Branding projects start at $7,500 and custom websites at $15,000. Every project is quoted individually after a free consultation, so the price reflects your clinic or organization rather than a generic package.

For healthcare websites, the main cost drivers are the number of locations and services, booking or intake integrations, accessibility requirements, content writing and any custom features your patients need. A single-practitioner clinic and a multi-site healthcare organization will land in very different places. During the consultation we'll ask about your goals, your patients and your current tools, then send a clear written quote you can review with your team or board before deciding.

How long will it take?

Most branding projects take 6–10 weeks and most websites 8–20 weeks. Healthcare projects sit within those ranges, but a few things can stretch or shorten them.

Approvals are a big one. Healthcare organizations often need sign-off from clinical leads, privacy officers or boards, so we build those review points into the schedule from day one. Content is another: service descriptions, practitioner bios and patient information take time to write and approve. Booking system integrations can also add steps. We'll share a realistic timeline after your consultation, and keep you updated as we go so there are no surprises close to launch.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. If your brand is in good shape we'll design within it; if not, we'll tell you honestly. Many clinics come to us with a logo and colours they're happy with and just need a healthcare website that does them justice.

We'll review your existing brand for consistency and for accessibility, since some colour combinations that look fine in a logo don't pass contrast requirements on a website. If your brand needs small adjustments to work well online, we'll suggest them. If it's genuinely holding you back, perhaps it looks dated or doesn't feel trustworthy to patients, we'll explain why and outline options from a refresh to a full rebrand.
