Trade Show Design
Stop people in the aisle.
Booth graphics, backdrops, banners and handouts that get noticed across a crowded floor, and follow-up materials that turn conversations into leads.
A trade show floor is the loudest room your brand will ever be in. Hundreds of booths, all asking for attention. The ones that win are simple, bold and clear from forty feet away.
What is trade show design?
Big, bold and clear from forty feet.
Trade show design covers everything your brand needs at an event: booth backdrops and walls, banners and displays, table covers, interactive screens, handouts and follow-up materials. It has to work at a distance, explain what you do in seconds and give your team something to start a conversation with.
For SimplyO3 we designed a curved trade show backdrop alongside their brochures and flyers; for The Miller Group, display banners; for Empire Imagine, an interactive sales centre touchscreen.
Handouts matter too. See marketing collateral and brochure design.

01Plan
Goals & Space
We confirm your booth size, goals and what you need to say. Are you launching a product, collecting leads or building awareness? The answer shapes every design decision that follows.
We also consider the exhibit space, sight lines and how attendees will approach your booth from the aisle. With goals and space clear, we can design trade show graphics that pull people in and get your message across in seconds.

Booth Design
We design the booth graphics, shown in context, so you can picture how they’ll look on the show floor. Headlines are big and simple enough to read from down the aisle, and visuals are chosen to stop people mid-stride.
Seeing the booth in context helps you judge the overall impact and catch any issues before production. Once the design is approved, we prepare files to your exhibit builder’s requirements.

-
03Produce
Production Files
Files prepared to your exhibit builder’s specifications, with the right sizes, bleed and resolution for large-format printing. Big graphics leave very little room for error, so we double-check every detail.
We can also coordinate with your builder, answering questions and keeping the details on track. You get trade show booth graphics that are ready to install, without a frantic call from the convention centre the night before.

04Follow up
Takeaways & Follow-up
Handouts and follow-up materials that turn visits into leads. Brochures, business cards, giveaways and post-show emails help people remember who you are once they’re back at their desks.
A great booth starts conversations, but follow-up is what turns them into business. Consistent, on-brand materials make your company memorable and make it easy for prospects to take the next step after the show.

Booths that bring people in.
Simple messages, bold design, every detail considered. A booth has a few seconds to stop someone walking past, so we design backdrops, banners and handouts that read across a busy floor, then give your team follow-up materials that keep the conversation going after the show.
Clear from a distance
One message, readable across the floor. Big, simple headlines and strong contrast tell passers-by who you are and why they should stop, before they reach your booth.
Brand-consistent
Matches your website, collateral and everything else. Visitors who pick up a handout or scan a code see the same brand when they follow up, which helps them remember you.
Production-ready
Files your exhibit builder can use. We work from their templates and specs, so graphics fit the structure exactly and arrive in time for setup.
Built for leads
Takeaways and follow-ups keep the conversation going. Handouts, QR codes and post-show emails turn quick chats at the booth into real leads for your sales team.
We’ve earned some good company. Recognize anyone?
Beyond their technical expertise, what truly stood out was how personally invested the team was in our success. They took the time to understand our business priorities and consistently aligned their work to meet those objectives.

We had an incredibly short and aggressive timeline that Envy Design Co. met, delivering an incredible website. After the websites were launched, leads continued to come in.

Their communication, attention to detail, and commitment to measurable outcomes made them feel like genuine partners rather than just a vendor. They are terrific.

Frequently asked questions.
What does trade show design include?
Booth graphics and backdrops, banners and displays, interactive screens, handouts, giveaways and follow-up materials.
Trade show design covers everything that helps you stand out on the show floor and stay memorable afterward. Booth graphics need to communicate who you are and what you offer from a distance, in a few seconds, as people walk past. Banners and displays reinforce your message, interactive screens give visitors something to engage with, and handouts and giveaways give them something to take home. Follow-up materials help your sales team continue the conversation after the show. We design it all to work together as one branded experience.
Do you build the booth?
We design the graphics and prepare production files, then work with your exhibit builder or printer to produce them.
Booth construction is a specialist job, so we focus on what we do best: designing booth graphics that work, and preparing production files exactly to your exhibit builder's or printer's specifications. If you already work with an exhibit company, we'll coordinate with them on sizes, materials and deadlines. If not, we can recommend partners. We review proofs and stay involved through production so the finished booth looks the way it was designed. That way you get strong design and a reliable build without managing everything yourself.
How far ahead should we start?
As early as possible. Production deadlines come up fast, so we recommend starting well before your show.
Trade show timelines are less forgiving than most projects, because the show date won't move. Exhibit builders and printers need final files well before the event, and shipping to the venue adds more time. Starting early gives room for concept development, feedback, revisions and proofing without rushing. It also gives you time to plan handouts, giveaways and follow-up materials, which are often left until the last minute. If your show is coming up soon, still get in touch, and we'll tell you honestly what's realistic.
Can you design for a booth we already own?
Yes. We can design new graphics to fit your existing booth hardware.
Reusing your booth frame, displays or banner stands is a smart way to refresh your trade show presence without the cost of new hardware. We'll need the exact graphic dimensions and specifications, ideally templates from your exhibit supplier, so new graphics fit perfectly. We design to make the most of the space you have, keeping key messages visible above tables and crowds. If your hardware has limitations, like awkward panel splits, we'll design around them. The result is a booth that looks new without starting from scratch.
How much does trade show design cost?
It depends on the booth size and the number of pieces. Every project is quoted individually.
Trade show design costs depend on the size and type of booth, how many graphics and display pieces are needed, whether you need handouts, giveaways or interactive content, and how much messaging work is involved. A single pop-up backdrop is a smaller scope than a large custom booth with multiple displays and supporting materials. Printing, fabrication and shipping are separate costs. Tell us about your show, booth and goals, and we'll send a clear quote for the design work.
