Intelliflex
A cinematic website design for Intelliflex, the modular AI data centre brand of Alberta’s CES Corporation, built around its Octopod platform.

01 — Context
Infrastructure for the AI factory era
Intelliflex is the modular data centre brand of CES Corporation, based in Acheson, Alberta. What started as a one-man electrical operation, founded by Charles L’Ecuyer, now designs and manufactures fully integrated infrastructure on both sides of the border, including a 172,000 sq. ft. plant in Fort Worth, Texas, run by its U.S. subsidiary.
Its flagship product, Octopod, is a complete modular data centre: power, cooling, compute and support space, built in a factory and deployed fast. The buyers are infrastructure teams at neo-cloud providers, enterprises and hyperscalers, and they don’t have time for vague marketing. Intelliflex asked us to design a website that could explain a very technical product clearly and look as advanced as the hardware it sells.

02 — Direction
Dark, precise and lit from within
Data centres are dark rooms full of small blue lights, so we leaned into that. The whole site sits on true black, with one electric blue doing the heavy lifting for numbers, icons and links. A signal yellow, borrowed from the stripes in the Intelliflex logo, is saved for callouts on technical diagrams, where it needs to stand out.
Headlines are large, tight and plain-spoken. Buttons are soft glass pills that glow slightly against the black. Cards are deep graphite with fine borders, so dense information stays calm. It’s a restrained system, and that restraint is what makes the product imagery and the metrics feel important. We wrote more about this kind of thinking in visual hierarchy in web design.

03 — The homepage
One scroll from what it is to ask us how
The homepage is built as a short story. It opens with the big idea, modular AI factory infrastructure, then introduces Octopod with a 3D render of the campus. From there it answers the questions an infrastructure buyer actually asks: why modular, what a single block delivers (8.8 MW of critical IT load and 80 direct liquid cooled racks), who is behind it and what’s new.
News, a video library and a manufacturing section give the proof, and a closing call to action sums it up in the client’s own words: speed, scalability, flexibility, quality. It’s our approach to storytelling through web design, applied to a very technical sale.

04 — Octopod
A product page that does the selling
Octopod gets its own page, and it’s the most important one on the site. We designed it to work like a spec sheet with a pulse. A bento grid of live-feeling cards presents the key figures, from computing capacity and rack space to ambient operating temperature and PUE range, each with a small visual that hints at what the number means.
Below that, the platform breaks into power, cooling, compute and auxiliary systems, each with a link to full specifications, and a five-step timeline shows how Intelliflex handles a project from design and manufacturing through commissioning and support.

05 — Company and careers
A growing team, front and centre
Behind the hardware is a company that is hiring fast, so the rest of the site works just as hard. The About page tells the CES story, from a one-man electrical shop to a cross-border manufacturer, with a clear mission, vision and four values. Meet the Team introduces the leadership group with portraits and full bios in pop-up cards.
Careers has a searchable job board with filters for category, employment type and location, a single job page and an application form. A video library groups product spotlights, facility tours and project highlights, and a blog and contact page round out twelve page designs, all in one consistent UX and UI system.
Inside the company
People, roles and real faces
Infrastructure is a relationship business. Showing the actual leadership team and the actual shop floor builds trust in a way stock photography never could.
